I Don't Really Care!

There are some things in the media that I just could care less about, for example:

1. When Madonna or Angelina Jolie adopt a baby. Why is that so newsworthy?

2. The rehab stint of Brittney Spears. I guess if I had a kid who liked her I would be more concerned with her antics, who knows.

3. Lindsay Lohan's Father getting out of prison.

4. How the American Idol Singers did the ngiht before. If I wanted to know, I would watch it-duh. Why is there a recap every stinking week on every stinking channel.

5. How the fight between Rosie and Donald is going. I bet I hear something about that at least once a week.

Ok, I'll stop ranting.

See I'm torn between the whole news about celebs adopting babies. On one hand you don't want people to think it's cool and trendy and try to do it themselves before they are ready, but on the other hand, I think that it also raises awareness of international adoption which I am a huge supportor of. Just a thought.

I totally agree that international adoption is very important, but you and I can't go "pick out" our child like people like Madonna and Angelina. You take what the agency gives you.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that it bugs me more that she's not married. She's shacking up with Brad Pitt and everyone thinks it's "applaudable".

Bedroom Progress!

Well, today I moved back into my bedroom. It's been a long 2 months of sleeping in the living room, but now that I see the finished results, I'm thrilled. Randy is so good it's amazing. I love my new ceiling fan! Here are some shots of my bedding and the wall. I love it. We don't have our furniture back in yet, I'm hoping Randy will let me buy new bedroom furniture, but we have to sell ours first. The bathroom and closet will be next. Well, technically the closet is completely finished, but we still have a few things to do in the bathroom. I'll keep you posted when we finish those areas. I'm just thrilled to be able to sleep in my bedroom again! Yeah! Go Randy!

What God Has Joined Together.....

Today is our 15th Anniversary I can't believe it's been 15 years since I said "I DO", but the road has been one of the best roads that I've ever been on. Randy and I only have God to thank for everything. We are nothing without Christ! I pray that the next 15 years will only deepen our love for each other and our commitment to following Christ's example. On a side note, I am thinking that my crown in heaven is going to be HUGE for living with Randy so long, don't you think??
