Lots and Lots of Activity!

Wow, am I tired! Our retreat was awesome! There were 90 some women there. See the pictures on the side. It was so fantastic-the theme was "I think I see GOLD!" It talked about letting God refine us and burn off our impurities of the world until we are pure inside. We had to carry a lump of coal around with us all day. Neat idea.

I left the retreat center at 7:00 pm then went to my friends 25th wedding anniversary party and left their house at 10:30 pm. On our way home, Randy got a stinkin' speeding ticket -$104.00. Olivia was freakin' out over being pulled over by a policeman.

So we got home about 11:30 and I was exhausted because I stayed up half the night at the retreat.




The best pictures of the retreat go to Sheryl Honeycutt doing her "Planet of the Apes" impersonation. Sheryl, you know that I love you, but this picture is just too good to pass up.

And Tracey Fitzgerald trying to put a fake beauty mark on her face. This picture is hysterical!

Then, I get up this morning, go to church and at 12:30 remember that Olivia has to be at a birthday party for twins at her school at 1:30- all the way in Oxford at Miami's rec center. I hadn't even bought them a gift yet. Needless to say, we were a little late. It was pretty cool there. They all got to rock climb-see pictures to the right. They got to swim and play basketball too.

Olivia's birthday is this Friday, May 5th and the girls who had their party today were born on May 5th also. They call themselves the "triplet" girls. Olivia's birthday party is at The Skatin' Place in Colerain. It should be fun!

Bedroom Progress!

Well, today I moved back into my bedroom. It's been a long 2 months of sleeping in the living room, but now that I see the finished results, I'm thrilled. Randy is so good it's amazing. I love my new ceiling fan! Here are some shots of my bedding and the wall. I love it. We don't have our furniture back in yet, I'm hoping Randy will let me buy new bedroom furniture, but we have to sell ours first. The bathroom and closet will be next. Well, technically the closet is completely finished, but we still have a few things to do in the bathroom. I'll keep you posted when we finish those areas. I'm just thrilled to be able to sleep in my bedroom again! Yeah! Go Randy!

What God Has Joined Together.....

Today is our 15th Anniversary I can't believe it's been 15 years since I said "I DO", but the road has been one of the best roads that I've ever been on. Randy and I only have God to thank for everything. We are nothing without Christ! I pray that the next 15 years will only deepen our love for each other and our commitment to following Christ's example. On a side note, I am thinking that my crown in heaven is going to be HUGE for living with Randy so long, don't you think??
